The interstate removalist process starts when you request a no-obligation quote either via our easy-to-use calculator or by contacting us to discuss your move. Our calculator is very detailed, but we know it might not cover everything you need to move, so we’ll double-check the details with you, and possibly ask for a more detailed inventory of those items not already included in your request for a quote.
If necessary, we can also send out one of our experienced removal consultants to assist with this step.

Once you accept our interstate removalist quote, we’ll contact you to answer any questions you may have and arrange your booking. After we’ve finalised the date of your move and full contact details, we start our planning process. We may reach out during this phase to confirm certain important details, like access to your new property and double-check your removal date.

We’ll have been in contact throughout the days or weeks leading up to your moving day, whether that’s to answer your questions or share our final plan for moving day with you. On moving day, our interstate removalists will arrive at the prearranged time to start packing and loading your belongings. Our interstate furniture removalists will handle all your belongings with the utmost care. Delicate items will receive protective coverings to ensure they arrive at your new home safe and sound

Before we head over to your new property, we’ll carry out a comprehensive inventory of your possessions that includes a record of any existing damages as well as a description of the items. You or an authorised friend or family member will need to be present for this step and can assist by pointing out any items that need special handling. Once you’ve signed off, we’re ready for the transport phase of your interstate removal.

For local moves, you are welcome to follow our truck to your new location, though you may prefer to simply meet us at the final destination. We’ll keep you updated throughout the trip if we run into any delays and to make sure that you’ll be available to let us into your new home once we arrive. If possible, a floor plan showing where you’d like your belongings to go would be helpful. Otherwise, someone will need to be on hand to direct our crew to the right rooms.
You can use the detailed inventory provided earlier to mark off all your belongings and check their condition as they’re unloaded. We’ll reassemble anything we had to disassemble for the move and make sure you’re satisfied with everything. This is the time to address any concerns with the removalist interstate crew supervisor, who will guide you through whatever steps need to be taken next, whether this is filing an insurance claim or finalising payment.
